I am 29, a non-smoker, easy-going Czech girl living the last 7 years in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I work in a local herbal dispensary (D.Atkinson Herbalist & Napiers Clinic) in Edinburgh and I absolutely love my job - herbal medicine and natural remedies are my passion and I love to discuss this topic with anyone interested. A few years ago I graduated from College of Naturopathic Medicine and I am now slowly starting up my own business as a Nutritional Therapist.

I grew up in the countryside with my 2 siblings, myself being the oldest one I always helped with our garden and took care of our dog and few cats.
In my free time I love to play music (guitar, piano, ukulele), yoga, travel (getting to know new cultures and doing new experiences), spending actively time on sun (sometimes hard to achieve in Scotland). I borrow regularly a dog through Borrowmydoggy.com (the one on a photo) and we have great fun hiking our local Scottish hills together! My friends usually describe me as funny and a bit crazy person (in a good way!).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i love getting to know new people and cultures, sharing stories.. i believe being 'on the road' is not about being in isolation in hotel room, but about meeting interesting souls, and while travelling getting to know the area like a local not a tourist.,.. getting to really know how the locals live means to truly experience the travel.

I am completely new at Couchsurfing therefore i have no references so far.. but happy to provide lots of personal feedback from people who know me closely and from my Workaway stay..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one of the best holidays in my life - staying in a small Italian community in countryside of Umbria through workaway that so much enriched my point of view of life. Sharing garden work, cooking and other duties and jamming music, having interesting discussions in evenings.. Got priceless friends for life and happy memories! and hopefully improved my Italian conversation skills while interacting with locals on my daily trips to the village :)
