About Me

My friends would say I'm a little crazy and I guess that's true. More than that though, I love to see new things, meet new people, cook and eat, sit and talk, explore.
Currently I'm doing my Bachelor of Science (Geography) in Kiel.
I would consider myself as openminded, friendly, spontaneous and happy to be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The last two years I've been exploring quite some places in which I often relied on the friendliness and help of the local people and I was amazed by all the love and hospitality that I was shown. Knowing that it is not always easy to be on your own and sometimes struggeling to find a place to sleep with just a few more dollars in your pocket, I want to welcome travelers now that I have the chance to and pass on the love that I got to experience.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I like (alternative) Rock but am mostly open to any genre and bands. One of my favourites atm is Mumford and Sons, Bastille, one of my all time favourites are Linkin Park, U2, blink182.

I like to watch thrillers and action-movies but figuered that some of the movies I enjoyed most are actually dramas. Some movies I love are Inception, Hair (Musical), Labor Day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Peru I hiked the Salkantay Trek, which is a Trail covering a distance of around 100 km crossing a sub-summit of Mount Salkantay leading to Machu Picchu. The highest point of the hike is at 4629 m and the air is very thin up there!
As I did the trek unguided and in the raining season it was challenging and unlike anything I had done before. But reaching Machu Picchu after 6 days of walking through rain, snow, mud and water with some of the most spectacular views, I was absolutely happy!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to hear and learn about different views and opinions on basicaly anything to widen my own horizon. However it will not be easy to convince me of anything that I've made up my mind on ;)
