Hello
My name is Jana and I come from Lucerne, Switzerland. I finished school two years ago and did right after a gap year in which I worked for a half year in a supermarket and in the second half year I went travelling to Central America and France. In Costa Rica I did a volunteer project at a primary school and after that I travelled to Nicaragua, Panama, Columbia and Cuba. In Paris I did an internship in Centre Sociale and in Toulon a workaway .
Now I'm studying Romance Linguistics at the University of Zürich and I love it!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm on couchsurfing because I want to meet great people with whom I can spend time with and I like to learn about different cultures and traditions.

Interesses

I really like dancing Salsa and Bachata in my free time. I'm also in the youth parliament of Lucerne (the city where I live) and I'm an active member of the youth group of Amnesty International.

During my gap year I made a lot of great experiences. Some of them were Volcano Boarding in Nicaragua, Sailing to the San Blas Islands in Panama and the trekking tour to Ciudad Perdida in Colombia.

I'm very interested in learning foreign languages and I also like to teach my language (German). I'm a very open person, I can share stories and experiences. But I'm also curious and like to listen what other people tell.
