About Me
Hi, I'm Jana. I'm a student in Berlin, currently studying Linguistics at the University of Potsdam with a focus on English and communication. I used to travel a lot with my family growing up, and I've lived abroad (in the US and Canada) for bits at various times of my life. So I've been to a lot of places, and by now I'm settled on Berlin as my home, but I still like to travel and explore new things. Next up: Scandinavia! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't have any couchsurfing experience yet but I'd like to change that, because I think it's really cool that you can go different places and meet local people this way :) I'm always curious to see how people actually live in different countries and cities. Plus, it's just convenient when you're on a budget.

Music, Movies, and Books
Three favourite bands/artists: Billy Talent, Radical Face, Farin Urlaub (weird combination, I know.)
Favourite book: Fall on Your Knees, by Ann-Marie MacDonald. If you know this, you're either Canadian or have a pretty good taste in literature (or both). Also, if you know and like this book, you should go listen to Radical Face and vice versa ;)
Favourite Movie: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Because how could it not be?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm... performed a 15-minute medley of Madonna songs on stage with my choir at a gay club, at 3 a.m., in front of like 800 elated people? That was kinda cool.. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Imagine other people complexly. And don't forget to be awesome.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Pretty good cooking skills and ukulele music :)
