My name is Jana, I am 24 years old and I will be travelling for the next months on the land way from Germany towards east. I´m planning to pass through Eastern Europe and Turkey, and maybe continue my trip to Central Asia. Let´s see:)

I just finished my Bachelor in Social and Cultural Anthropology and I am now looking forward to see new places of the world! Besides culture, languages and travelling, I am passionate for nature and outdoor activities like hiking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Where ever I am, I try to grasp an understanding of the culture and everyday life. I believe in the importance of cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my greates travel experiences was a five months trip through South East Asia and Nepal in 2018, where I tried Workaway for the first time. It was unforgettable!
Since then I travelled to Georgia, Morocco, Sweden, Norway and many other beautiful countries and I had my first couchsurfing experience in Istanbul. Here I realized how differently you get to know about a place if you do couchsurfing.
