Overview
About Me
I'm easy going, lively, love being active outdoors (hiking, trekking, running, sailing) and to explore as many different countries and cultures as possible. I'm a PhD student at the University of Cambridge in Architectural History, work in different parts of the arts and heritage industry and increasingly in education as well. I'm passionate about sharing knowledge and using our understanding of history to bring people together and to create understanding and empathy.
I was raised in Austria & Italy, until I moved to the UK when I was 16 where I have been ever since. I love food, live music, being outdoors and to dance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to the couchsurfing website community but I have had some of my best experiences travelling staying with private hosts who love their city and country and want to share their passion and knowledge of the place. It's a great way to discover a country and to meet other open-minded people. Equally, I love being able to share the places I call home with other people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much everything, it really depends on my mood. I'm not too picky because I think you can take interesting things even from everything.
I read a lot, and pretty much anything. And life without music would not be life for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 15 I convinced my parents to let me move to England, first to finish my school education at boarding school, but I have stayed in Britain ever since. I love living in the UK (despite Brexit) and am immensely glad that I believed in my dreams.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like meeting people who are passionate about something (no matter how unique/niche) and who are engaged in their community and environment.
I can babble on about art and architecture and local history, and teach you to cook & bake Austrian & Italian cuisine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love communicating and sharing the places and experiences I've been able to have so far - often through stories, but also very much through food! I cook and bake a lot, much of which is influenced by my Austrian & Italian heritage and the places I travelled to. I'd be very glad to cook for/with my host and share some of the flavours I know!
