Overview
About Me
Hey, my name is Jana and I love to see new places and just enjoy the small and positive things in life.
My boyfriend Jonas and me are currently doing a gap year to see the world, to experience different perspectives and to learn about other people's way of living.
We started our journey in May 2019 with a 2 week bicycle tour from Cologne to Amsterdam along the river Rhein. In June we left our home country to explore Southeast Asia and Australia.
We are both uncomplicated personalities, very tidy and clean, always up for a good talk with a beer or a glass of wine. Although we tend to be the relaxed couch potato type, we try our best to stay active 🙈
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's the easiest way to get in touch with locals, make new friends, learn about different ways of living and feel a bit like at home when it seems far away.
Interests
My biggest passion is probably food, preferred Italian. Wherever I go on my travels, I first check the food and drinks typical for the area to try them all 🧁
I also like to improve my own skills in the kitchen, whether it's baking or cooking, and often try new recipes to collect all the best!
Another big thing for me is learning. I am a good listener and I love to hear stories and different perspectives on things that help me understand our world a little better. Also discussing them and being open and tolerant to others opinions is a big thing for me. Respect and positivity is the key to life.
At the moment, I'm really into the idea of minimalism, sustainable living and tiny houses.
