To care for the land that cares for us and help others realize the beautiful world around them.

ABOUT ME

I am immersed in plant and land care, growing food & medicine and talking to others about it. I'm a professional gardener/landscaper alongside my partner and am working to expand our business to include food and medicine gardens, permaculture techniques and soil food web restoration. My partner and I also own a couple of acres on the Big Island; we go there every year to recharge and work on our land and we really want to connect with folks there. I also attend Buddhist meditation classes, sometimes organize for The Bloom Network, like to take motorcycle day trips, and work within the local library system.

Have hosted a couple of Couchsurfers plus wwoofers, been a wwoofer in Hawaii, and stayed in many interesting places during my travels!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like movies with STORIES and docs... but enjoy the occasional piece of trash too.

Music - Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Ramones are my faves. Classic RnR, ska, roots reggae, garage punk, chicha, some edm.

Books - SF and non fiction are what I lean towards. I'm always reading about growing plants and generally expanding my knowledge.

Hmm... I've made a few short films; I toured in a band, toured with a band, asked Iggy Pop to be my prom date, peered into a volcano; entertained a cougar.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I love to talk about growing food & medicine (if you haven't figured that out already) and and happy to show anyone what I do and share tips, and can take people on local plant identification walks. I love learning this from others in different places, too. I can show visitors the non-touristy side of Victoria.
