About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ADVENTURE!!

ABOUT ME

I recently came back from travelling in South America and stayed with some amazing people through couchsurfing. Unfortunately those experiences are logged in another account, but looking forward to adding lots of new ones here.

I love literature, music, cooking, travelling, experiencing new cultures & realising daily that wherever we may be from in the world, there's always things to share!

I really look forward to meeting people coming to/around Canterbury - I'm not able to host just yet but hope to soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Weekly meetings in Canterbury, Wednesday nights at 8pm, Bramleys. Come along!

If you need anyone to show you around, just drop me a message.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had incredible experiences, from staying in tiny towns in Brazil where people had never met anyone from abroad before - let alone tried Cottage Pie or a hot English dessert - to staying in Rio over carnival with 12 people in a small flat. Such a brilliant project which made travelling abroad an even better time. Want to give back now that I'm in my second home.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always find this hard because there are too many. For now though, let's start with movies: Wings of Desire, other Wenders films like Paris, Texas. French 60s cinema, like Les Parapluies de Cherbourg. Any films with Christopher Walken. Tarantino. Amelie. Marilyn Monroe - especially The Misfits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling in the Amazon jungle was probably the best thing I've ever done. First I spent 6 days on a boat on the river to get there. Then spent 6 days exploring. I was pretty scared before I went and then embraced it, it was truly amazing. Nearly got eaten by a puma - but, that's a story for another time..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can recommend some books, music, I can probably teach you a bit of Macedonian, or French, or Spanish. And if you need to know how to make an epic Spaghetti Bolognese sauce? I'm your gal.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Colombia, Croatia, Italy, Malta, Paraguay, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In
