ABOUT ME

I like meeting new people from all over the world, get to know, talk to, party with, share ideas and cultures with,... them. I currently study theatre and film (the theoretical part) in Antwerp.
I'm guessing everyone of my friends will agree that I am very outgoing, spontaneous, maybe sometimes a little too forward. Though I am also a very calm and sometimes quiet person. Me and my friends enjoy going to our favorite student bar (we call it our second living room) and have drinks or maybe go to an amazing party in Antwerp. I've studied English for 3 years at the Univeristy of Antwerp and enjoy learning to speak foreign languages. This year I plan on taking a Spanish course. One of my other interests/passions is history. I really enjoy reading historic novels, watching shows based on or documentaries about historic events and going to important historic places when I travel. Ofcourse I also like to go shopping (a lot) :p A few of my (old) hobbies include ballet dancing, modern dance, violin, saxophone,...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no personal experiences but have met people that were staying with some friends of mine. One of them even permanently stayed in Antwerp and we still sometimes run into him! Furthermore I have gotten some great tips through this site for my travels. Unfortunately I can not host anyone right now because I'm living at home, but maybe it will be possible when I move next year.

Traveling to Greece and the Cycladic Islands was definitely one of the best trips I ever made. I'm hoping Portugal will do the same for me this year.
