ABOUT ME

I'm Jana, a 23-years-old medical student from Munich.
I always loved to travel and therefore when I left school for holidays I usually got on a short trip to get to know Italy, Austria, France or other european countries.
After finishing school 2008 in Hamburg for the first time I had the chance to spned a longer time on another continent >> Destination: Ecuador, Guayaquil; mission: teaching music.
This wonderful experience once again showed me how beautyful it is to visit other parts of the world and get in contact with people living there, experience their cultures and see their contries.

That's the reason I now joined the 'Couchsurfers'. It's a very cool way of travelling for young people.
I really look forward to meet you in every place on earth. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of my frieds have made some gorgeus experiences with 'couchsurfing' and therefore I want to try travelling that way, too.

Interests

I love to spend time with my friends: that might be a chilly evening in the city, nature or in every place on earth,
I LOVE to travel!! Which includes meeting people from other parts of the world and learning more about their country, origin, culture and language. But it doesn't ever need to be such a 'big journey'. I also like to explore the cities I live in by bike and find some new lovely places close to my home.
Finally I enjoy to go to sport and especially yoga classes to relax from the university.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: depending on the mood I'm in I like a lot of different types of movies... But Garden State, Buena Vista Social Club, Soul Kitchen and Eat Pray Love are some of my alltime favourites

music: I have to say that's the same with music...
I love GOOD music and the definition 'good' sometimes is flexible! ;) But at the moment 'good' is usally some kind of jazz, soul or alternative rock like Sophie Hunger, José González, Jamie Cullum, Zaz, South or The Strokes.

Books: When there is the some free time to read a good book, I often make use of that chance. I really liked to accompany Lisbeth Salander on her way in Stieg Larsson Millennium series, read novels by Paulo Coelho, Martin Suter and Henning Mankell. Furthermore I like 'light' french literarure (Anna Gavalda, Muriel Barbery), but also some thoughtfully stories from authors like Khaled Hosseini.
