I am a 23 year old girl from Germany and I love to travel the world and meet new people. After I graduated from school I spent one year traveling all around Australia and another few months in Asia. After that I started studying hotel management in Breda, the Netherlands. I soon figured out that that's not really something I wanna do and so I went back to Australia for 20 months where I've had the best time I could have ever asked for. Now I'm back in Germany, hopping around different towns to catch up with friends, explore new places and look what the homeland has to offer!

I am very open minded, and I guess I am a pretty easy going person. I usually get along with all sorts of people and love hearing about their lives and experiences. I am a vegetarian and very conscious person which means I try to by most products fair trade and organic. I love cooking for my hosts - in my opinion the least I can do for surfing on your couch!

As I already said I am interested in travelling and always looking for some new experiences... I really enjoy horseriding and being around animals in gerneral. To keep myself fit I also do lots of running or go the gym. Even though I am not a good musician myself I am interested in all kinds of music and dancing.

Music: currently I prefer everything electronic, but that changes every now and then... I love techno, electro, deep house, minimal, indie, rock, reggae, dancehall, dub, electroswing ... And the newest discovery: PSYTRANCE! Loving it!
Some of my favs are: Fritz Kalkbrenner, The XX, Nirvana, Bonobo, The Kooks, Worakls, Red Hot Chili Peppers, ...

Books: 1Q84, Game of Thrones, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, ...

Movies: there's too many good movies to list them all - but two of my absolute favourites are 'Into The Wild' & 'The Intouchables'

I have been swimming with wild dolphins on Australia's West Coast and even some big sharks (luckily they were not hungry) & in Sri Lanka I saw wild leopards from just 3 meters distance.

If you want to I would share some of my vegetarian (sometimes even vegan) cooking with you - you don't need to be a veggie to enjoy it! My specialties are Sri Lankan rice & curry - I just loooove that stuff! :)
