ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing openminded person looking forward to knowing the world better! İ grew up in Brazil and İ have lived in both Turkey and England for one year each. Now I am living in Canada as a PhD student in Ecology and Conservation. My international experiences have brought me many interesting experiences, international friends (from CS included) and different points of view that helped build who I am today, still a constantly changing human being. Maybe that's why I am so eager to get to know other people and cultures and share mine =)

Sou uma pessoa de mente aberta que quer conhecer e entender melhor o mundo! Cresci no Brasil e vivi na Turquia e na Inglaterra por um ano cada. Vivi muitas experiências interessantes, fiz amigos do mundo inteiro e entrei com contato com muitos pontos de vista diferentes que me ajudaram a formar quem sou hoje, ainda em constante movimento. Talvez por isso eu goste tanto de conhecer outras pessoas e culturas, e mostrar a minha =)

I have always been interested in travelling anywhere, because I believe that there is beauty and knowledge everywhere! I think you cannot understand a place and a culture if you don't get to know locals. I think meeting people from different places is a great way to understand human kind and to see different points of view from your own

Eu sempre tive muito interesse em viajar, fosse para onde fosse, pois acredito que há beleza e conhecimento em todo lugar! Acredito que não se pode conhecer uma cultura se você não conhece os locais, e conhecer gente de um local diferente é um jeito maravilhoso de entender melhor a humanidade e de reconhecer outros pontos de vista

I have always been interested in sports (play basketball since I was 9 years old) and eating healthy and ecologically responsibly. I am vegetarian and try choose vegan options whenever possible.

I love watching foreign movies so that I can understand a bit more about different cultures (it's almost like a trip!)

Hiking in the Island of Skye in Scotland and spent a storm inside a tent! Feeling like you're dying can make you feel very much alive again!

I also went to Turkey for an exchange year when I was 17 years old and felt that great feeling about being good on my own two feet!
