Grew up in Mumbai. I completed my basic (Graduation) education in Mumbai and did my master's in Development at Azim Premji University, Bangalore. I am a teacher educator. I design and facilitate learning experiences for both teachers and children in primary math pedagogy. I am interested in designing contextual learning in primary schools in Wayanad.

Participated in South India Jam in 2017. The community of jammers has helped me explore connecting with the self and with the world around me in a new way (through the heart). Experiencing and exploring 'gratitude' as a major theme in this life.

Politically and religiously neutral. I am keen on exploring alternative ways of life and living.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Immediately after completing my master's program at Azim Premji University, I set off on a backpack trail exploring the rural parts of India and studying various social initiatives. This exploration was hugely supported by friends (mostly from Azim Premji University) and acquaintances along the way. While this exploration was instinctive, in retrospect, it is the philosophy that nurtures this platform that served as the basis of my travels. When I eventually learned about Counchsufing (at the fag end of my backpack travel), I embraced it like fish to water.

I have lived the philosophy of Couchsurfing and am keen on paying back the hospitality I received all the while.
