Hello guys - nice to meet you!

My name is Jana, I'm 20 years old and I'm from Nürnberg in Bavaria, Germany. At the moment I'm living in beautiful Bamberg where the college I attend is located. Usually I'm studying communication as main subject and further history and politics, but in the university vacation I love to travel, discover new countries and cities and enjoy little travelling adventures.

CURRENT MISSION

My boyfriend and I are planning an interrail trip through Scandinavia in august 2015 togehter. We have about 4 weeks time and hope to get to know a lot in this region. We'll be starting in Riga and Tallinn, then discovering Finland for almost a week. After a few days (beach, sea and relaxing) at the Aland Isles, we stop in Stockholm, then we'll taking the train to Norway to visit Trondheim, Olso, Bergen and Stavanger. After that, back to Sweden, we'll be exploring Göteborg and Malmö. Before flying back home, we'll stay a few days in Copenhagen.

We really would like to occupy some couches in Scandinavia - in order to get to know some nice people, to learn about the countries and the culture, to get some tips about some special places or to discover your city together.

Interests

- Animals: I love my dog Paul and our rabbits. Furthermore I like horses and spend a lot of time in the riding-stable.
- I'm interested in history, politics and different cultures. I like reports about history and try to read the newspaper regularly to be informed about what happens in the world.
- Spending time with my friends, watching films or series (Homeland and Big Bang Theory are my favorites), hanging out in parks, ...

Music, Movies, and Books

Well... difficult question!
In my opinion, you must have:
-listen to: Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. I guess, they are my favorite musicians. But I really listen to a lot of music styles - what usually makes me really happy in clubs or at parties: the 80s, 90s and some old stuff like the Backstreet Boys or the Spice Girls. I have to admit that my friends do not share my enthusiasm about it...but apparently I can be very convincing - there's almost no 80s party in Bamberg without us :-)

-seen: Life a a house - it is the best movie ever. I don't know exactly why but it makes me cry every time I watch it and afterwards makes me appreciate the little beautiful things in life :-)

-read: too much... especially as a child I was the typical bookworm. My personal little library consisted of more than 250 books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013, my boyfriend and I went on an interrail trip through western europe (france and spain) - it was a great experience, we visited beautiful cities and had an awesome time together.
