About Me

In the Fall of last year I was presented with the opportunity to move to Berlin. A friend had just bought an apartment here and asked if we, my then fiancé and I, wanted to rent from her. Knowing this is a rarity in Berlin we jumped on it! We got married the next month, shipped fifteen boxes of household shit over and got passports made for our two cats. I think this story describes exactly the person I want.. well I guess AM - spontaneous. I love to just go with the flow and let things happen organically. In 2017 I quit my very depressing full-time job in a hospital and decided I would not live to work anymore. From then on I have been traveling through the US and even made it to China last year for five weeks. I love to travel, meet new people and learn about different cultures and ways of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet new people here in Berlin and help anyone traveling on a budget see this city!

Interests

I love biking, wandering through nature and swimming. For the most part I'm a homebody but if I go out I'd prefer to be in nature. BUT I do go to bars with friends and the occasional club to dance. I'd much rather dance in my living room though.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes I'm into everything. It just depends on my mood, the vibe.. I don't know the names of any artists I listen to but literally anything I can dance to I usually love!

Movies I usually watch are typically made for kids, but I'm a kid at heart.

I am currently reading "Sapiens" by Yuval Harari and I do not want it to end. It is my bible. Everytime I read parts from it my mind is blown away with new ideas and I just love it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think moving to Berlin was pretty amazing. I talked about it for years to friends and colleagues and nobody thought it would actually happen. But here I am, made my dreams come true.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you to swim, you will learn and after I will share food with you.
