ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Jana. I live in Düsseldorf at the moment, Germany, studying social work at the moment. In July 2013 I finished my apprenticeship to a hairdresser, so i used to come into contact with different kind of people and to make conversation in general. I used the time in between for travelling and making experiences....!!!!
PHILOSOPHY
None explicit philosophy, maybe "enjoy every day, it could be your last"!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2010 I spend two month in India with my best friend, traveling around the North, West coast and the middle part. During our trip we often used couch surfing, which was always a great experience. I remember a wonderful time at "Papa Singh's" farm near by Amritsar (you all have to go there), where we started, a busy time in Mumbai and a strange guy in Varanasi and some more. All in all I can say that everyone of them really tried their best to host us and to become a part of real India. Thank you for that, I enjoyed every day and it was one of the best things I've ever done before!!!
Interests
I really like spending time with my friends, just sitting together or for some other activities. In summer I enjoy being outside in a park, at the beautiful harbour or dancing on an open air to electronic music. Dancing and hearing music is the best medicine if you feel sad and blue!!! When I stay at home I like cooking, watching series like true blood and spend time with my flat mates drinking a beer at the balcony

Music, Movies, and Books
I really really love to hear music and dancing, I would never miss it! My favourites are electronic and alternative music, but I'm also very open minded to all other genres like rock, Indie, Hip Hop and so on. At the moment I prefere Bonobo, Alt-J, Kollektiv Turmstraße, Dillon, Extrawelt to get an idea of it.
My favourite books are "Die Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo", it's more like a biography about a girl living on the streets of Berlin in the 70ies and a book from Jostein Gaarder called "The castle in the pyrenees"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My whole last trip to India really was one of best things I've done. I was amazed by the people who are so hospitable and big hearted!
It's difficult to name a special event or something like that, let me think about it for a while...........
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can't play an instrument or something like that.....but i can promise to be a thankful guest and a really nice company:)
Countries I’ve Visited
