Overview
About Me
I consider myself to be an open-minded person. I like to listen and talk although I prefer discussions about cultures, politics, literature and home-cooked philosophy rather than small talks. I can be harsh in my remarks but it always drives the conversation to the new, uncharted points :)
I lived for 8 years in Turkey and had a chance to travel extensively around it and the neighbouring Iran.
I am a political scientist as well as amateur painter and writer

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've started my adventure with CS as a student on internship in Cork, Ireland. Two things convinced me to do so - my small, student budget and opinions of my friends, who considered it a wonderful, mind-changing experience. Indeed it was...
With the help of CS I've traveled not only Ireland, but also half of Turkey. I was able to meet a lot of cheerful, amazing people, including my best friend, I saw a lot of places which another way I wouldn't be a able to find and truly appreciate. Currently I cannot imagine travelling without CS. Instead of cold hotel room I can meet with new, open-minded people and with their help discover the true face of the cities and villages which I visit.
