About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Could be something in the middle of happiness and pain. Something like... live? (and watching The Simpsons, while I'm not living, of course)
ABOUT ME
Mmmmm... what to say here... mmmmm.... Well, I'm a relatively normal guy, I think (no matter a bunch of my friends say I'm quite an eccentric). I live in Chile (that's South America, not a region in Spain or East Europe; after a few episodes abroad I have to explain that :-o). I love to meet new people, to see what they do, what they feel, what it's like to live where they live (btw politics and society couldn't be a better issue). I want to touch, feel, see, taste, smell everything. I wouldn't like to die thinking in the things I haven't done, but in things I did...
PHILOSOPHY
What?? Should I have one?? Am I so lost in life?? Well, I believe in the light at the end of the tunnel, because otherwise it wouldn't be a tunnel. Or it's midnight. Or the volcano ashes are blocking my view. Or... WTH, I've lost my point...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After a relatively long time in CS it's still hard to assess. No matter that, I believe my participation is not only surfing or hosting, but actively sharing with the Belfast community. I think we have bound something here and I really hope not to cut it ever...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Until now, just great!! Thanks to all who made it possible, especially to all my wonderful hosts in such different cities (from Prague to Rome, and Barcelona to Istanbul), my incredible guests and my just amazing Belfast gang. Without you this experience wouldn't be the same!
Interests
I like music, arts, cinema, politics, philosophy, travel (obviously), stamps collecting, going out with friends, walking around nonsense, staring at others like I haven't met them yet, internet, coffee and chocolates...

Music, Movies, and Books
Mmmm... The music I listen to is really electro, most of it trip-hop, jungle (D&B for the ones that don't like this name) and other diverse experiments. I love Björk, Underworld, Autechre, Gus Gus, Massive Attack, Photek, Goldie, Lamb, Róisín Murphy, Matthew Herbert, Erlend Øye, Portishead, Múm, Roni Size, Matmos, Simian Mobile Disco, ufff! Anyway, open to all kinds of it. On movies, probably I should add to my list Being John Malkovich (Spike Jonze), Heaven (Tom Tykwer), Dancer in the Dark (Lars von Trier), Amarcord (Federico Fellini) and many others I can't remember right now. Books: Probably one of the most relevant I read, personally, is Kundera's The Unbearable Lightness of Being; really impressive! I also enjoy terribly Arthur Schnitzler's books, no matter how old they are...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In my opinion, many things. Currently I think in 'Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2', by Marcel Duchamp. I could stay for hours staring at it and it wouldn't be enough. It was absolutely impressive!
