Overview
About Me
Ever since I was a child, looking at a map of the world has always made my heart race with excitement and desire to go and experience it all- the sites, the sounds, the taste, the smells, the feelings- that are unique in every part of the world. Looking back over these past five years, during which I have been very lucky to fulfill my childhood dreams, I notice that traveling has brought about some extremely challenging moments, and it has also given me some of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Over the years I have been blown away by the kindness and generosity of strangers. I have seen the possibilities of deeply connecting to others without a common language. I have seen so many breath taking forms of natural beauty. I have experienced loneliness and sadness as a walked around a new city- and learned to take care of myself through those difficult emotions. Traveling has given me exposure to the extreme contrasts in life, all of which have played an integral part of becoming who I am today and my ability to show up for myself and my community, and drives my interest in continuing down this path.
