Hi! I'm Jane, 26 y/o.

I'm Australian, but currently on exchange in Finland for 5 months. I'm studying law at the moment, but don't let that put you off! I like quirky things, have green hair at the moment, and enjoy both random silliness and serious discussion. I can be quite outgoing, but like some quiet time as well - so I am more than happy to hang out if you like, but won't be demanding attention (although I do like a good dance) :)

I love animals so pets are a plus for me! The bigger and uglier, the better ;)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Before I return home I am hoping to experience more of what Europe has to offer, and plan to travel around various countries from mid-May to late June. I'm on Couchsurfing because it would be fantastic to meet some local people who can tell and/or show me a bit about the area while I stay with them, instead of just seeing the main tourist centres. I'd also love to share a bit about myself and my country!

Unfortunately I'm in student housing at the moment so can't take guests, but this may change when I get home :)

I love reading! I usually read sci-fi/fantasy, however I have dabbled in horrors, thrillers and classics. I would like to expand my range further and would happily read recommendations for anyway :)

I don't watch chick movies. I love Quentin Tarantino films, intelligent sci-fi and dark British comedies like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Coming on this trip! I left my boyfriend, my house, my pets and my family for 6 months to be here. As Australia is so far away from the rest of the world I have had little opportunity to travel at length, and I am both so proud of myself for coming despite my ties at home, and so lucky to have so much support from them all :)
