Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of my friends live elsewhere in the world and speak a dozen languages. Travelling only makes sense when you meet new people, not just new places.
I have couched once in Rome and our magnificent host Alessandro turned out to be a real gift. And once in Palermo, where Davide Rivituso have also made our brief stay wonderful.
Such experiences make you believe that there are so many wonderful, kind and lovely people out there.

Hard to tackle, but I guess Hesse, Camus and Tolkien. Probably Philip K. Dick, O. Wilde. As for the separate books, Flowers for Algernon, Of Mice and Men, Dandelion Wine.
Music varies. Alt-J, The Maccabees, Interpol, Ludovico Einaudi, emancipator, The Last Shadow Puppets, Foals, 65daysofstatic, God is an Astronaut, Maybeshewill.
Movies would be Control, Submarine, Snatch, Only Lovers Left Alive, Kill Your Darlings, everything by Xavier Dolan, most by Wes Anderson and Richard Ayoade, My Own Private Idaho, Sherlock BBC, Mad Max (yep, the new one), Watchmen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Read Lord of the Rings in English. )And learned to ride horses well enough to gallop in the open field.
