ABOUT ME

I've just finished up teaching English in rural Japan for the past year, which was an amazing experience, and am now embarking on a 6 month adventure around Europe before heading back to New Zealand!
I love travelling, socializing and meeting new people, but am also a giant film nerd and love staying in with a good movie, which is what helped me make it through the subzero winter of Japan! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only surfed so far, will be able to host when I actually have a place I can call home :)

Interests

Film, music, travel, cooking, meeting new people and having copious amounts of fun!
I'm also a fan of exploring abandoned buildings; hospitals, theme parks, asylums, the more mystery that surrounds a place, the more I wanna explore it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list! Movie wise, a few favourites are Oldboy (or anything by Park Chan Wook really), Magnolia, Dusk till Dawn, Wild at Heart, The Chumscrubber and True Romance.

I'll pretty much listen to anything as long as its decent; hip hop, punk, rockabilly, anything goes!

Same with books, but my favourite authors are probably Harlan Coben and Paullina Simons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring the abandoned ruins of Gunkanjima (Battleship Island) off the coast of Nagasaki was pretty awesome!
