About Me

Hello world! My name is Jane and I'm here to glean as much from the world as I can. I'm so excited to spend my time having new experiences, learning new things, and meeting people. I'm constantly in pursuit of personal development, balance, and happiness.

Right now I live in midtown Sacramento, California surrounded by good friends, tons of coffee shops and hip bars, and plenty of trees. I'm a lecturer at Sacramento State University and drive the Sac Brew Bike on weekends. Check it out--it's basically a multi-person bicycle bar crawl/tour. Fun times!

I am an extroverted introvert, and love spending my time in good company. In my free time, I am on outdoor adventures, eating delicious food, writing, reading, being spontaneous, breathing, meditating, laughing, and being with awesome human beings.

"It is our choices... that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."€ -J.K. Rowling

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently in search of hosts in Costa Rica. I hope to visit a variety of places, but will fly into San José to start out. I'm hoping to be able to host in the future, but currently don't have the bandwidth in life to do so.

The first time I joined Couchsurfing was to find a host in Copenhagen. I was studying abroad in Gothenburg, Sweden and have had the travel bug ever since. For the last five years, I've spent most of my travel time locally in California and the western portion of the United States.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying abroad in Gothenburg, Sweden! Best decision of my life. I'm was there from Aug 2013 until January 2014. I'm so grateful to have met such awesome people and learned so many new things during my stay!

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to share experiences, teach others what I know, and talk about feelings and life in general.

My question to everyone: What do you do each day that makes you happy or enriches your life? Also, what could you not live without?
