ABOUT ME

I am a very friendly, reliable, polite, self-sufficient person.
I try to be very open for all things new and I am very eager to learn from every experience I make. I am very curious about everything and love to talk and discuss about it. I especially love it when somebody presents me sth totally new to me :)
I laugh about almost everything. Seriously it takes like nothing to make me laugh. I am generally a very happy person and like to create fun memories with people.
I am a very honest person. I always have my own opinion and like to share and discuss it.
Also am I a very sociable person. I like hanging out with friends and make new ones :) And the perk of being an Au Pair or traveling itself is that you can make friends all over the world which is quite awesome, isn't it?! :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am an Au Pair in the Philadelphia area which means I live with a family and take care of their kids. That is why I currently can't host. But in 3 month I will go back home to Germany and as soon as I don't live at my parents house anymore I want to host too to meet a lot of exciting people :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just couchsurfed once and I really liked it :) I had a very kind host. We talked a lot and I had a very good time :) I hope I can meet new people through this and maybe even make new friends :)

Interests

I love traveling! (Of course what else would I do here... :D)
I am also very interested in Sports (e.g. soccer, softball/ baseball, badminton, volleyball, yoga) and nutrient. I would like to become a vegetarian or maybe even a vegan but that I wanna start when I will be back in Germany.
I love reading and yes not just magazines but also books. I try to fit it in my schedule as much as possible.
I also love just hanging out especially outside :D Going on a bike ride, a walk, swimming or just sit on the beach or in the grass is just awesome.
And of course as almost every girl I LOVE SHOPPING :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost all kind of movies but my favorites are comedies.
I don't really have a certain kind of music that I prefer but I like rock and charts.
With books I like classics like Sherlock Holmes but also new interesting stuff like the Hunger Games :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my friends told me there would be a concert in Berlin in Germany and he would drive there in a week and if I want to come too I would have to tell him now. So I decided to go in like a minute that I wanted to go and yeah a week later I was in Berlin at an awesome concert!
Also I made a trip that was 5 days long and in that time I saw Cleveland, OH; Detroit, MI; Indianapolis, IN and Chicago, Il. I did the whole trip on my own and for me that was the very first trip where I organized everything on my own and did completely on my own.
The other most amazing decision I made was becoming an Au Pair. In half a year I decided to become one and prepared everything from writing an application, to find a family and to really move to America for a whole year to work as an Au Pair. It is much harder than I thought it would be and I learned a lot here. I learned how it will be to be a mom, how it is to be so very far away from your family for such a long time and who my true friends are just to mention a few things I learned ;)
