ABOUT ME

Hey, my name is Yana, i'm originaly from Ukraine, but i've been studying in Czech Republic for already 3,5 years. I consider myself as open-minded and easy-going person, who's always looking for smth crazy and challenging. But i guess you'll see it better from the references on my page :D
Even though i'm just 20 year old, i've already visited a lot of countries, saw some really cool places and lived in different parts of Europe. And that's all because of my passion for travelling.
Travelling as well as a photography, music, getting to know new ppl, exploring new cultures are extremly important parts of my life. As they help me to discover more about myself and to understand the world around. And in this case couchsurfing is very helpfull. It does not only help to save money that I would otherwise left in a hotel or hostel, but it also helps to meet and get to know amazing ppl and even to find friends all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I created my CS acount in autumn 2008. I heard about it from a friend, who that time was a very active couchsurfer and still is. I was kinda surprised that there is such a thing and even more surprised that i still haven't heard of it :D First i was a little bit scared, cause I wasn't sure what kind of ppl i could meet, and if it was safe to trust an unknown person. But after my first CS experience all my fears and doubts were gone :) I saw what a great comunity of different and amzing ppl is this, who are not only helpfull and understanding but also not afraid to let a new person in teir lives.. even for a short period of time.
Since then i've become an active member of CS, who hosted a lot of ppl from different countries and was hosted by a lot of ppl in different countries.
And so far my CS experionse was only positive and i hope it will stay that way :)
