ABOUT ME

We live together in a flat near the centre of Seville. This is a bit odd because we are two different people so I'm going to split this up. We don't want to talk about ourselves in the third person so....
Jane
I've been teaching English as a foreign language in Seville for quite a while now! Before Seville I lived in a small town quite close to Seville called Carmona. I came here to learn Spanish, but Andalucia has got under my skin and now I'm addicted to the laid-back lifestyle and sun!

Miguel
I studied Art and now I'm working in whatever comes my way - anything from web design to ice skating monitor. I've just completed my training to become a Teacher of Spanish as a foreign/second language.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've been hosting for a couple of years now and have made some lifelong friends along the way! We'll help out as often as we can in terms of offering a nice warm place to crash and a hot shower!!! We're also happy to show people the best bits of Seville even if it's just for a beer, a coffee on our balcony, or a night out.

We're happy to say that every experience has been positive so far. Meeting new people adds a little spark to our lives!

Jane
I love playing the guitar and singing. I'm not very good, but it's what I enjoy most, so it doesn't really matter. I like taking things easy and enjoying the simple things - a coffee or a beer with friends. I'm not particularly sporty but I do yoga and I love cycling round Seville on a sunny day.
Miguel
I enjoy going out (like most people in Andalucia!) to have a cold beer with friends on a warm afternoon. I love live music and late nights out. Having said that, I also like spending time at home watching animation films and making or fixing things. Whenever money, weather and time permits we like travelling with our VW camper van.

Jane: Paragliding (tandem with an instructor!) in the Bernese-Oberland in the Swiss Alps.
Miguel: Rage Against the Machine live in Madrid and all the amazing beaches around Spain.

I'm learning the guitar and am always happy to share what I know and get tips from others. I guess I'm kind of intermediate level-ish at Ashtanga yoga. I'd love to pass to some stuff on or be taught....
Miguel
I'm a designer, so I always want to share ideas. Someone to visit art galleries or skate with would be nice too!
