About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Have a picnic in every country in Europe, taste a greengage, live in Africa and Southeast Asia, learn to speak Danish fluently, be in Tel Aviv for Purim at some point, have pad thai in Thailand, expatriate to Europe as soon as possible

ABOUT ME

I'm short, talkative, enthusiastic, and people-oriented. I love getting getting to know people, traveling, and trying new things. I will try almost any kind of new food.

My favorite small pleasures in life are sleeping, raspberries, walking in the sunshine, fireworks, picnics, surprises, singing, dancing, artichokes, and going to the beach.

PHILOSOPHY

Be curious, appreciative, honest, kind, and take things in stride. Keep an open mind. Maintain your integrity. Remember that everything that stinks today will be a good story tomorrow.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in Copenhagen, Denmark for four months without knowing any Danish beforehand. Best thing I've ever done in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn:
How to cook a regional dish in every place I visit, how to say at least a few words in any new language, how to weave, how to dance local folk dances, how to sing local folk songs, how to play the guitar, banjo, mandolin, and/or ukulele

I'd be happy to teach:
How to bake fantastic cookies and pie, Greek myths and obscure fairy tales, random facts, how to stage fight, how to juggle, how to treat stinging nettle and sunburn without store-bought products, how to identify different plants and trees
