I'm a 18 year old German and have lived most of my life with my little brother and my parents in Cochem, a very small town in the southwest of Germany. I am interested in sports, music, politics and like to travel the world as much as possible. I also enjoy learning languages and trying new things.
I play a little piano, base guitar and chess. I love watching old movies and like to read or go out with friends.
Personally, I think of myself as a uncomplicated person and can usually get along with everybody I meet.
I am applying for Universities and am optimistic to be studying International Relations by the end of the year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting and spending time with new people. It also seems to be the best way to save some money and experience travelling a little less like a tourist.
I'm a very open, communicative person that is easy to deal with and I hope to meet some similar people on Couchsurfing!
Even though I started to look into Couchsurfing for a trip to the US East Coast this June, I hope I will soon be able to host as well.

I am always looking forward to learning, whether it is about the city or country I'm in, about food, language, culture or the people I interact with and their stories.
As mentioned above, I'm fluent in German and English and my Spanish is pretty decent, too. Besides, I can teach some piano or chess basics and have been living in and travelling especially Europe for some time now if anyone's interested in that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am an optimist and usually have a positive, open-minded attitude towards everything and like to laugh a lot. While I'm not a very good cook, I don't mind helping in the kitchen or whereever help is needed at all, having worked in catering for some years now.
I have been able to see a few countries of the world as well and like sharing stories. I am always open to friendly discussions on politics or sports and like to think of myself as a good conversationalist.
