Hello! My name is Janelle but I go by Nell. Some think I'm intimidating at first because of my tattoos, piercings and colored hair, but I assure you I'm quite nice and actually quite shy at times. I'm from Hawai'i but live in San Diego, California now. I work and go to school full time and try to travel where I can. Life excites me. I love meeting people from all over and learning about their cultures and languages. I'd rather be rich in experiences and good friends than anything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always loved to travel and experience new places. I love meeting others from all over and learning about other cultures and traveling really opens the door for that. I am normally very shy and have to often force myself out of my comfort zone but traveling and meeting new people, I have found, really helps and is great for that. I was told about couchsurfing by a friend where I was told of how amazing it can be and how they have gained rich and lasting friendships through it. Since then, a few other people have highly recommended it as well, so I thought I would give it a go.

At the moment, I'm not sure what I have to teach. But I love talking about culture and language and I love to learn about history.

I know with a few surfs and a little time, I will be able to answer this better so I will come back to this.

I’m not too sure what I can share off the top of my head but I am polite, clean, and respectful and love to get to know new people. I would love to explore this further and will come back to it.
