Overview
About Me
I am the happiest when my hands are dirty from caring for plants or animals in a communal setting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using couchsurfing over a decade ago in Costa Rica, showing folks around San Jose, then surfed through South America. Every single experience was uniquely beautiful, and renewed my trust in humanity. I felt welcomed and safe every time. I haven't used it in a while, but am excited to meet more folks with similar interests.
Interests
I like to connect with others but have zero interest in people who are racist, sexist, ageist, ableist, xenophobic, transphobic, or homophobic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I juggled balls and clubs at street lights in South America (largest one being the main avenue in Buenos Aires), interrupting the monotony of concrete jungles with silly games. I was never really exceptional, but I tried my best to give off good energy, putting smiles where they hadn't been before. It was the most courageous thing I have ever done, and it filled me with joyful power to continue my travels across many countries.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to keep learning Permaculture and Portuguese.
I want to learn how to be a successful freelancer (translation, writing, editing, etc.) and how to build basic structures.
I want to share my skills and keep building gardens wherever I go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a busy-body who truly enjoys doing yard work, cooking, and building. I am eager to learn new things and have the energy to help out with what's needed.
