About Me

I am from Brooklyn New York and my Mexican heritage is very important to me. I started backpacking 6 years ago and love meeting new people and making friends from all over the world. Health and wellness is a huge priority of mine as is reading a good book or dancing.

I loved being a teacher but am now working remotely for an Tech company so I hope to continue traveling the way I did years ago!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I never would have thought couchsurfing would make such a positive impact on my life but it has! I have met such wonderful people and have been able to try new experiences with them. I enjoy learning from the people I meet and I think each time I have couchsurfed it has opened my eyes to a new way of living. It is so much more than just a place to stay, it really gives you beautiful memories and friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught a group of children in a small rural town in central Mexico math and english. It was one of the most rewarding experiences to date and it inspired me to go back and actually teach in a school in Puebla. It was my first time living on my own and away from my family! From that experience I went on to work in an orphanage as a teacher but I was the one doing the most learning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love working out, so a good workout or jog is so fun in a new country and with new workout buddies!
I can also teach English or help you practice. Spanish too!
