I am a massage therapist and teacher living in Kansas City. I've been doing massage for 18 years.

I have participated in Couchsurfing in 2008, when I lived in Richmond, VA and always enjoyed meeting and getting to know the people who came to stay with me. I heard about Couchsurfing from my daughter.

I have 3 grown children living in Oakland, CA, Grenoble, France and here in Kansas City. I also have a grandchild, living in Grenoble.

I love to travel and meet new people.

My daughter first told me about Couchsurfing and it sounded interesting to me. When I lived in Richmond, VA, I had several people stay with me but let my membership lapse after that, since I didn't have room for people to stay.

I'm going on a retreat at the end of the month to Estes Park, CO and would like to break the trip up.

Personal Development - I enjoy taking classes and learning about myself and how this world works.
Music, especially singing - I'm currently in my church choir and am looking for other avenues to share my voice.
Meeting people - I've always enjoyed meeting and getting to know other people. I think it's important to keep an open mind.
I like to play board games, cards and Mexican Train dominoes.

I sold everything and moved to France, although I didn't know the language or anyone there. I met so many wonderful people and loved my experience.
