Hey, there.

Hey, this is Marco and Janet.
Welcome to our home in Gulangyu.

Marco love making furnitures and cooking. Reading and d
doing sports. I love guitar and reading. And we both interested in tattoo.

We have a baby girl~and now I spend most of the time at home and may not be able to go around with you but anything you want to know about the island I can tell you. Marco love sports and he have a kayak and he's been play by himself and will be very happy to have someone play together.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In April, 2012 when I was going to graduate from U, I came out with the idea to hitch-hike traveling around China. When I searching on the Internet someone mention Couchsurfing. First it is because short of money but I really enjoy the way. I remember every Hosts, how they trust me and share me with their stories and things they know. I think this is how traveling should be.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Chaozhou: The first host in my life is Lizzy. We became good friends after that. I meet her in her work place. People in her working place is super friendly, we drink red wine and play guitar and that is a great memory in my life.

Xiamen： I live in Xiao's Hotel which is a tent. I love that place. And it has guitar too. I asked Xiao to borrow his guitar and I go to a quiet place. From where I meet Keith. I love Xiamen and I will move there.

Ningbo: Tina, the girl have her net shop. Tina and I went to Spa and have xiaoye together. She is easy going and have her own thought about the future. She just go back from Lijiang, so she told me her story in Suhe, making me in love with that place.

Interests

I am a shutterbug. I bought a second-hand Nikon D70 after a long running-in period, I LOVE it and cannot live without it by my side.

I love swimming, I swim everyday in summer time in the afternoon. One time about one year ago, I slipped in the swimming class and the teacher ask me out and that is embarrassing, so I learn it by myself. I know new friend in the swimming pool and we often have meal together after swim.

Play guitar, yes.I learn to play guitar about 3 years ago. I have good friends who can play good guitar, but guitar is something that one have to practice day after day alone. Honestly I quit for about 2 years and when I was a junior I play it again. I am not an expert but I really enjoy it.

Reading, I cannot live without a book by my side, I will feel bored to death if I do not have a book with me.

And of course, writing… I am bad, but I will write something in my blog and I have a blog about traveling.
