Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of being able to get to know a location by staying with locals. I like meeting new people and hearing about their perspectives; even when I don't necessarily agree, I'm always open.

Music: Korean indie/ballads, alternative rock, old school hip hop, and traditional music of pretty much any country.
Movies: Theory of Everything, Mask of Zorro, The Classic, etc. etc.
Books: Dear Reader, The Blue Sword, anything on Alexander the Great

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked with North Korean refugees in a program called Liberty in North Korea in their resettlement program. I tutored and assisted cultural immersion for new refugees in South Korea. I also did fundraising for my University's chapter during undergraduate studies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tons of crazy stories, good hotspots...I tend to be a gracious and non-intrusive host. Wherever I go, interesting things seem to happen to me.
