ABOUT ME

Laugh too loud! Think too much, give the best hugs! Listen well, although I also love to talk. Love that I can talk to anyone... And very good at cutting through bullshit. I have a big heart but not afraid to say what I think. Far too idealistic..... Even though, with all I've seen and experienced I should know better.... So I guess slow learner! Christain, artist, sports woman.... So all and all a pretty funny mix really..... And of course there's more.... But what's the fun in meeting me, if I spill all here.....?

PHILOSOPHY

Wow what a question...intense. To be kind, to be real, to love, as hard as that can be.... To hope that maybe my life could just make a little positive difference. To try to hear and follow God, to learn to receive his love! To also be the whacky, diverse, competive, intelligent person that for some reason God made me. I'm sure he was having an off day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Am looking forward to offering spare room when I return home in about one year.... But currently hoping to be able to somehow afford to continue to travel across Asia, then Europe ( from 4 November...) Followed by USA about four months later.... A bit of an ask on my budget... So very keen on work, or volunteering, or woofing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Staying with friend met in Phuket for a week....was great having some company, partying together.... Showing her new beach....been shown some sights.... And introduced to other great people.... So enhanced my experience! .... And I know I have a new friend.

Have been to a couple of CS meetings.

Interests

Art, sport ( rowing, biking, hiking, recently surfing! And rock climbing... Love them both...big time! ha. bit of running, but not so much an interest, used to pllay soccer) - write a little, enjoying starting to share a few mini stories of my travels with friends.... Good poetry, or beautiful writing. Love music of course, goes along with long walks on the beaches really - doesn't it! But I do also miss my dogs that did used to walk the beach with me. I am also interested in psychology and philosophy... Just read for interest sake.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh man.... Really, I'm sure people always take too much from this question... And I'm hopeless at remembering movie names and books! So I guess generally - movies, art house or action.... Go the contrasts.
Books - more often than not non fiction, sports autobiography, philosophy, psychology, learning styles, anything I suppose... And a good novel, if I'm sunbathing....
Music - basically again anything and everything.... I can enjoy, Tool and Placebo, pearl Jam... Then lax out with Jack jonson, bob marley.... Damien Rice, Richard Ashcroft.... A bit of Jazz, blues, classical..... And although I never thought it would happen a bit of cow try is creeping in...not often though.... Thanks to Mr Johnny Cash!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sorry I'm going to go for cliche again... Not really like me, but hey...
-" looked with awe at my new babies face!" nearly 21 years ago... I was going to attempt to express the moment and feelings... But for once I'm lost for words; the complexity of emotions and thoughts are not one the English language ( with my level or lack of skill ) can do justice.... Suffice to say I was very lucky to have many hours alone to get to know this new human being that quickly became my beautiful baby, soon to be amazing daughter.... And know both amazinging and beautiful woman!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach, sports training. I know a medium amount about natural medicine. Enjoy sharing healthy eating, but not anal about it, believe in balance. I can teach art... Help with emotional healing with NLP ( uses language and the subconscious mind to go fro problem state to achieving what you want ) ... Friends get me to help make there wardrobes more creative... Have a flair with clothes and accessories I guess, and good at doing it on the cheap. Have studying and enjoy sharing about accelerated learning techniques... Also interested in combining art... Drawing, painting with emotional healing.... Learning to freely express, often brings new insights. I have also fixed my own dishwasher, washing machine... Handy with a hammer etc.... And grew up farming family... So drove tractor at age 12 (but don't have heavy duty licemce) grew vegetables etc.
Learning...I traveling is a huge learning curve for me.... Have never
travelled before.... Have taken on quite a bit, with starting with one year around the world.
