COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'll admit it. I'm not a very experienced traveler. And I get a bit anxious about the thought of going to places where I don't know anybody, so I'm hoping Couchsurfer can help me meet some people so I'll feel less anxious.

Music, Movies, and Books

modern lovers, coathangers, stereolab, thee oh sees, shangri-las, eternal summers, lots of garage, local, punk, girl groups. . . pretty varied tastes within the rock & pop genre. I love music. A lot.

I also tend to like quirky movies: Harold and Maude, God Bless America, stuff that isn't necessarily a big blockbuster film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love seeing bands play, but hadn't been to shows for a long time. So in March of 2012 I went to 31 shows in 31 days and documented a lot of what I saw (https://www.youtube.com/user/GalaxyGirlRadio). I'm still documenting as much as I can, but I don't go to shows QUITE that much anymore.
