About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Grow my YouTube, make it to 100 countries.

ABOUT ME

My life so far...
Spent 6 amazing years in boarding school where I became the independant, open minded person I am today and made some life long friends.

Went through a stage when I did a lot of sailing...sailed from Ireland to Liverpool, Amsterdam and even Gdansk in Poland! Also spent 4 months in a school in Laval, France to improove my french when I was 15. That summer I vounteered in an Orphanage in Minsk,Belarus which I absolutely LOVED. This really shaped what the next 5 years of my life would be like.

Upon leavng school I spent a year volunteering in a school in South Africa teaching Business and Economics. Went on to study European Business and French for 1 year...then set off to Kenya with 2 college friends where we volunteered in a school, had some random trips hitchhiking around Kenya, Uganda and Sudan.

Went back to college...but transferred to do a Degree in Journalism. Spent half the summer teaching english then deicided last minute to fly to Ethiopia to join my friend from uganda. After a month made my way to Kenya and travelled with another school friend.

THEN I joined Couchsurfing! Decided to stay put in Dublin to live in a CS house and hosted over 100 people in 2 months...let the travelling come to me so to speak!

Went to Edinburgh Rocks CouchSurfing Event...won a travel award so ended up in Berlin for the month of August...back to college..loads more hosting.. back to Berlin in Feb..Canada in May where I surfed Toronto, Niagara Falls and Detroit... Came home and spent 4 months heavily involved in CS Ireland organizing weekend trips, parties, festivals, camping events etc which I loved.

I graduated last November and am now having a huge adventure working my way around Australia! Then went to South Korea where I spent a year teaching English. Bcak home now, waiting for the next adventure to start.

Partying loads, smiling loads, making loads more amazing friends through CS. Life is good.

I am open to everything and am willing to do almost anything once. I love free hug days, random improv pillow fights on the street, dressing up like a clown and painting kids faces for free, getting naked in the name of art for Spencer Tunick....the list could go on forever...

Thats just me,who are you?

I see life as one big adventure,so come join me and lets have some fun!

PHILOSOPHY

I live everyday as if it were my last.I am an extremely outgoing, confident happy person. I like to think my charisma encourages others to do as I do and to set goals and reach them.I think I am pretty ambitious for a 23 year old student but I know in my heart if I dream it I can do it. I think in life if you work hard enough towards something you will be gauranteed results in the end....what comes around goes around!
I also live by the quote- Those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those who are doing it! I even wrote my final Thesis based on that one quote!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my couchsurfing experiences thus far have been very positive.I am now beginning to understand the true inner meaning of couchsurfing and treating couch surfers the way they should be treated...as family!
I think the couchsurfing community truely is one of a kind,so close knit, kind and generous that I am delighted to be a part of it. The more involved you get the better friends you make.
From all the gang in the Dublin CS group young and old,to my own friends who are slowly getting ivolved in COuchsurfing,to all the wonderful people I have hosted including Dan from Mexico,Russell from canada, Zsombar from Hungary,Cintia form Argentina, megan and her american friends, the french gals on their way to cork and many many more-you have truely given my life more meaning!

I enjoy Extreme sports at any opportunity,I spend a lot of time volunteering be it in Africa teaching in English, fundraising for new buildings or just playing with street kids. I simply adore all the harry potter books and am currentl suffering from withdrawal symptoms cause all the books have been released! I also love books with really cool twists like Dan Brown-Angels and demons, digital fortress, Da vinci code etc.

As regards to music I love Pop,Rock, Irish trad, country and western, classic, jazz and more but I DO NOT like heavy metal and crap like that! Headache anyone?!
