ABOUT ME
I'm friendly, open, easy-going and I like to laugh/chuggle. I study Politics at Glasgow Uni, but have been to Montreal for my exchange year. Before that I spent my gap year in France. Basically I like getting around, meeting new people and seeing new things. Many of my friends are couchsurfers and have encouraged me to give it a go as well.
I'm a good listener but do enjoy a good conversation where I do more than just listening. Topics vary from highly serious political/social issues to just more silly/funny things.
PHILOSOPHY
Be and let be.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an avid reader most of the times.
I've been a big Herman Hesse fan, still am somewhat. I like Dürematt, Max Frisch, Schlink... I've read Montesquieu's Lettres Persanes and rarely laughed so hard. Definitely a must read.I've read a fair share of English/American literature but oddly nothing except for Oscar Wilde springs to mind that touched me in the same way like the books mentioned above. Also a major fan of Murakami.
Movies: too many to list them all, but I really like pride and prejudice (bbc version not the new one), the old diner de cons, mesrine, white ribbon, the life of the others, m. lazare, chinese takeaway, classics such as james bond, lord of the rings, star wars... i like almost any type of movies, comedy, action, more serious stuff. not really into the more scary stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I went to France I was driving through the countryside and stopped at a restaurant where I saw a bunch of men chatting and having their wine and cheese together in the midday's sun. Needless to say, the food I had was great. That experience just stuck with me and made me want to see more of the same kind anywhere. I've obviously become a francophile as well.
