Hi! My name is Janice and I'm 22 years old. I live in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia.
I previously lived in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia, for almost 3 years. I also lived (and love :p) in Newcastle upon Tyne, up far in the north of England for about one year!

I start to travel by my self when I was 11. I traveled to Surabaya, East Java, to visit my uncle. Well, it was my first time flying alone! Since then, I mostly went traveling alone (domestically). My first solo trip abroad is to Singapore, when I was 13!

So far I have visited 24 countries! Trying to reach 30 before 30! Oh, I really want to go travel all the time...
I am curious and eager to learn everything! I love to meet new people and hear their stories and experiences. Imma passionate dreamer, part time photographer, permanent life learner, and an ambitious traveler! Not a kind a very extrovert yet introvert, I'm just right in between, so you may say that I'm ambivert!

I am now work at home, helping my dad with the family business. Since I work with my dad, so my working hours are quite flexible, which means I can take you around the city! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to only explore new places. I want to meet and mingle with the locals. That's why I'm here!
Meeting new people and hearing about their interesting life story is one of my favourite time. It's always a good idea to meet new people. I always curious about new culture, new adventure, and oh, new food! I would love the opportunity to make new friends in every part of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went for sledding in Oslo, Norway but forgot to use my outdoor boots and using my Nike fly knit instead! Ended up I couldn’t control the sled andddddd I fell down to a cliff! Glad I stuck on a tree! No phone, no friends, no flash light (twas dark already), tried to go up by my self..... glad I’m survived! Hahaha
