Overview
About Me
Hey there! My name is Janice and I have been living and working in Munich, Germany for about 2 years. I lived in Paris before this for 4 months and am slowly working my way around Europe now and eventually the rest of the world! My next venture is to move to South Korea and teach English for a year or so. I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds and I look forward to meeting you as well :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am interested in meeting locals from the different areas I travel to and see what real homes look like in different cities. It just seems much more genuine than staying at a hotel or hostel that is catered to tourists :)
Interests
I really love to cook vegan and vegetarian meals. I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I have always been very conscious about what I eat as I try to be mindful of how food impacts both one's body and the environment.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lumineers, Kooks, and more! I love the book called "The Story of Stuff", and love a lot of movies, but I would have to say that my favourite is still "Titanic", it was my first favourite movie that I can remember, at age 5 (I just fell in love with Leonardo!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked up Mout Santis in Switzerland (the highest mountain in northeast CH). It was my first time in the Swiss Alps and it all felt like a dream, the snow capped mountains, the perfectly clean lake called "Seealpsee", the cowbells ringing, the alp horn playing from afar, the fresh milk and cheese. I would recommend this adventure to anyone who loves mountains and a beautiful lake
