About Me
Hey!
My name is Janice. I love to wake up on a sunny day and have a nice cup of coffee, to be on the move, listening to music, going to concerts and festivals, wandering around, dreaming, drawing, drinking beer and wine, photography, colourful things, cooking, reading, meeting new people, the sea...
Back in the days, I was using this account which I shared with my friend Vivi but also used it for hosting people at my old places in Montpellier and Dresden:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my opinion, couchsurfing is just a great combination of travelling and meeting new people.
Even if you are not able to travel at the moment, you can still host people who bring some positive energy and new input to your home and the monotonia of everyday life. And not to forget - I got to know many really nice people so far :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i woke up on a sunday after a strange party night, being in this kind of melancholic hangovery mood. as i did not know what to do with this grey day, i called my best friend vivi, who was feeling the same. after all, we decided that the only good thing we could do on this day was to just leave the city. so we met and started hitchhiking. even though it seemed impossible in the beginning, we managed to hitchhike from dresden to budapest (a distance of 670km - with only two lifts - without the second one we would have been stuck in the czech middle of nowhere..) where we actually arrived at 11:30 pm the same day.
can't tell how good, free and crazy the feeling was to suddenly be in budapest.
