I am an adventurous person who loves to travel and explore different countries and cultures. I believe the more people travel and interact with other people, cultures and food, the more peaceful our world will become.
In meeting other travellers I find a kindred spirit. Love it!!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have used couchsurfing several times when travelling with my 2 children, once in Iceland and again in England. it was the best experience a traveller can have. Couchsurfing made travelling affordable.
I look forward to hosting a fellow surfer when they come my way.

Travel (obviously); at home I play sports like baseball and volleyball; volunteer with adult language and learning and immigrant services, environmental project and various other charities as needed.

I have a broad range of interest in music. My favourite book is Book of Negros and A Fine Balance because they both explore how people’s lives intertwine ... how ones actions affect another persons life and outcomes. Even more importantly how we each have the ability to make choices.

Taking my children to Iceland and England. That was their first trip out of the country. I was a bit nervous about this, since I am directionally challenged (it is one thing when you are on your own and lost totally different with children in tow) however I realized that the kids can see how resilient and resourceful we were in meeting challenges as they were presented.
