Veterinarian from Toronto, Canada. I was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Canada, and lived in Australia the last 5 years. My dream is to work 6 months, then travel 6 months in a year! Equal parts work and play! I travel between Canada and Australia a lot as my family still lives in Canada but my boyfriend and I live in Australia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up in a very conservative family, I have always been told the world is a scary place. The “us and them” mentality that I grew up with didn’t feel right. I believe that there are more good people than bad out there. Through CS, I’m hoping to participate in a community of good and sharing. Everyone has a story and I want to hear as many as I can. I’m a big foodie and would love to go on food adventures with the people I meet. Food is the best way to bring people together and be introduced into a new culture!
