About Me

About me? That's a tough question for most as we are constantly learning about ourselves day by day. I have come to realize that I am a very 'on-the-go' person, nearly restless and ready to spring for any opportunity that may offer mental stimulation. I find myself in bouts of extremely energy-draining activities and those lounging away for hours outdoors in the warm rays of the sun. Above all, I am a seeker of change for self-development.

In terms of the steps I've taken in my life's path: I went to college, received my engineering degree and now I work at a consulting company. Throughout these recent steps, I've had some very enlightening experiences through relocating, travel and the people I've met.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a believer of pushing positivity to receive positivity. What better way is there to meet locals and indulge in unique, foreign cultures of others?

Interests

A few of the activities that energize me:

Traveling Alone (with no agenda). If only we could take our cursor, drag and drop a pin on Google Maps and teleport to the pin right this second, I'm sure we would have fun, no agenda, no schedule.

Checking out local bands/shows. Whenever I head to a new place, I always try to make it a point to discover the music scene. It helps to set the theme of the trip, nearly like matching a tune to a scene in a cinematic video.

Pondering and Writing Daydreams. Who doesn't like to ponder the meaning of life? I am not a guru nor a philosopher of any sort, but the thought of our existence and the path we take does make for a long wondrous journey of constant reflection.

Reading Self-Help Books. I certainly trek through this section of the bookstore often. There are a plethora of topics to pick up some advice/suggestions of others. It is always enthralling to get into the thoughts of others.

Achievements. The sense of accomplishment is a natural elixir of emotions that helps the soul beam. The feeling of reaching a goal whether it's finishing a long, strenuous hike or even just smiling at every person you meet, it's a great mood enhancer.
