Hey it´s me, Janika. I´m 23 years old, I´m living in Germany and at the moment I´m studying Psychology in Landau in der Pfalz.
I love traveling, exploring the world and getting to know new cultures. Some years ago I headed off to South America after I finished school. I worked in Bolivia in a boarding school for almost half a year and traveled around Peru afterwards. So now I´m trying to travel in my semester holidays as often as I can.
If I´m not traveling I play music, practicing Yoga, climbing, dancing or drawing. I love spending time in the mountains and going on hikes. It would be a pleasure to get to know you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love to meet locals, it´s the best way to get to know a country, it´s people, their food and culture. I really don´t like traveling in this tourist bubble, where you just stay with other tourists, ticking the sight seeing spots and traveling as fast as you can to see all the sightseeing spots. If you´re staying in a hostel, it´s hard to get in touch with locals, so that´s why I love couchsurfing.

I don´t really have thiiis favourite book. But I like the books of Benedict Wells and I love reading through the Travel Episodes. Also a big fan of the Flow Magazin.

Still haven´t find my all-time-favourite movie, still searching.

I would love to teach you some german words or talk german if you already know a bit or also some funny bavarian words. Or I could cook or teach you one of our delicious bavarian dishes for you. If you´re interested in Yoga, I could also give you a yoga session.
