About Me

I happen to be quite energetic and talkative. I like having time in my hands and when I have it, I daydream, knit socks, catch up with reading or some series, write a poem, go for a tea with an old friend or make a new one, talk to people, listen to people, visit new places, learn something new.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy travelling and meeting new people, either meeting them abroad or hosting them in my apartment. I know how it feels to spend the night without a bed or a certain place where to stay at, so I hope I can be of help to someone.

Interests

I'm a great fan of animation, old and new cartoons and comics. I find myself very keen on the works of two Japanese animators Hayao Miyazaki and Makoto Shinkai. Addition to that I enjoy reading, writing, travelling, cooking, eating, folklore, history. I like adventures.

The Riceball Theory

"For example a person's good points, it's like the sour plum in the rice ball. That sour plum is just on the backside. In this world everyone's backside has various, different colors and taste of sour plums. But that's on another's backside... So no one can see within his or her own sour plum. They'll think that they have no value. That they're just a plain, white rice ball. But it's not like that at all... On the inside you have your own sour plum. When you envy others that's only because you can see other people's sour plum, that's all. Yes, I can see clearly, you have a sour plum on your back."

- Takaya Natsuki (from manga "Fruits Basket")
