About Me

Hi :)

I grew up in Leonberg (Germany) so German is my native language and I am sometimes a little shy, when I have to talk English because I am not used to it, yet. I currently study in Oldenburg and became vegan about half a year ago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be honest, I don't have much money and that alone makes couchsurfing an attractive option... ^^' But I guess I would still do couchsurfing if I was a little better situated because I like little adventures and enjoy meeting new people.

Btw; I never did couchsurfing before so I am very excited about the new experience.

Interests

I love diving (I am a CMAS* diver and pursuing to be CMAS** soon),
swimming, running, drawing/painting <3
And I meditate regularly... or at least I try to do so.

Oh, I nearly forgot: I enjoy sewing a lot. I like to make Halloween costumes for example.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love pretty much all movies made by Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki. *-*
I really like Zootopia, Adventure Time, The Simpsons,
Futurama, Steven Universe, over the garden wall...
As you can see, I am very much into animated movies/sereis...
but there are also non-animated series and movies I adore:
Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul,
Real Humans,
Ex Machina,
The Hunger Games,
and pretty much every documentary about the ocean or nature in general.

Music:
I don't have a special taste for a specific genre or band. I guess, I am quite mainstream and boring concerning this topic.

Books:
Vegan Kochen, La Veganista - Superfoods,
The Joy of Living & Joyful Wisdom (Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche),
Survival Lexikon (Rüdiger Nehberg),
some Stephen King books,
Praxis des Tauchens,
Eine unberührte Welt & Das Buch der Zukunft (Andreas Eschbach),
... :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Umm... have I ever done something truly amazing? I am not sure...
I am (or at least I think I am) a happy and friendly person, a good listener and I enjoy helping others. Maybe if you put all the little things and the happiness that I hope I could spread to the people around me together, you get something that could be considered slightly amazing. :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hmm... what can I share with hosts?
I guess that depends a lot on what kind of person my host is.

If you want to, I could try to teach you some ball juggling. Well... I can't juggle more than three balls myself, but the basics are easy to teach and to learn. :)

I guess I cook pretty decently. But not everybody likes my food because I am a vegan and I sometimes get a little too creative and then the result of my cooking ends up a little unusual.

If you want me to, I can help you with your household chores. I don't mind some cooking or cleaning and I could for example walk your dog.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, England, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland
