Constantly trying to understand - be it facts, things, places, myself, or other people. I like to ask questions, learn new things (especially languages) and get behind what moves people and why they act how they act and think like they think. I love nature & animals (guess that's why I'm a vegetarian for 10 years now). I really like meeting new people, but I usually don't feel lonely when I'm not around people - and once in a while I need a couple of hours just for myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'm interested in meeting new people from all over the world - and because I like travelling in a way that makes me dig in the culture of the region a bit deeper.

Interests

I like to discover new places, hike, enjoy the nature; I like culture, arts, theatre, music; walking around in a new town to discover places that you don't see on your average sightseeing trip. I especially enjoy reading, cooking (getting to know new recipes), being creative (drawing, lettering, watercolor, photography) and talking over a good coffee or a glass of wine (preferably not only small talk).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I might make a small drawing for you while I'm there, or take some pictures of you or your flat to share with you if you'd like. I'm definitely up for cooking together and sharing my favorite recipe (currently tarte flambée and a dish with fine Chinese noodles, mushrooms, soy beans, sesame, carrots and peanut puree).
