Hi,
I am a student (Master in "Sustainability, Society and the Environment") in Kiel since october 2014, before I did my bachelor in Geography in Berlin.
After one interesting but busy year (I studied and lived in a flat where I was working for my rent - I did babysitting, helping in the garden and with the animals) I am now living in a dorm and only able to host people when my four flatmates agree.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I couldn't officially host here in Kiel, yet but I have experience as host and guest. (As host together with Luise, my flatmate in Berlin, see "lutro").
In general, I like the idea of couchsurfing. When I lived and studied in Berlin I enjoyed the experience living for some time with different people from all around the world.
As it is meant as a platform for exchange I am glad to get the chance to find hosts for my journeys.

兴趣

I like being outdoor but also from time to time going out meeting friends in bars where there is a tablesoccer (in german we say playing "Kicker") and forget the world around me.
When I dance I am also fully absorbed by the activitiy I love it. I am taking contemporary dance classes but I love to dance to any music and I am always open for new experiences (recently I just experienced Trance Dance and darkroom dance - really worth to try!!).

Here in Kiel I used to have a weekly arriving box with fresh vegetables from a farm close to Kiel as I like to eat seasonal food and cook diverse things. But as I am travelling too much (I have family in south Germany), the weekly box was not convenient for me so I stopped. Now I try new things or create simple but tasty dishes out of stuff I buy on the market.

I have no favourite things as I can be crazy about many different things. But in general I like reading and watching movies (I prefer reading over watching movies) but don't ask me about the names of actors or producers or titles of movies.
Oh, and I also like to do "nothing" what can look like watching the clouds moving ;-)

Well for me it was amazing to go to India for one semester.

教，学，和分享

I would say it's long life learning and all things I already learned I can share but I don't have to;-). In my international master I am in contact with people from all over the world and it is amazing to discuss all the challenges we as humans have to face. If it is on the daily basis (love, eat,...) or on the big issues (climate change, global injustice, ...), I appreciate talking with different people and I am always again surprised about the individual perspectives everyone has.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

I can share whatever is suitable. I can share my knowledge on how to create certain "german-indian-Janina-food", I can share my knowledge on sustainability issues or just shut up and be on my own.
But I would say the best is we meet and find out what our meeting will be about - looking forward to that:-)
